KSDS ITC
The Kerala Social Development Society (K.S.D.S) is working in the field or Education and Social welfare activities in Idukki and Theni District of Kerala and Tamilnadu States for the last 10 years. We are running an Education Institute at Kattappana named KSDS ITC, Kattappana there we are now providing free & concessional Training to poor students.Atleast 50% beneficiaries of the above Training Programmes are Trainees from women category.
The Managing Director and Chief functionary of KSDS is an educational Activist and also is a recognized Social Worker having much public appeal and appreciation. He has got vast capacity and ability to administer and Implement the proposed project. Our society can also utilize the service and assistance of two other Director Board Members, who are also well educated and well established social workers for successfully implementing the project Apply Online
Courses Offered for Training
1. NCVT Courses
a. Data Entry Operator (NCVT)
It is a course designed for full time six months by The National Council for Vocational Training(NCVT). The minimum Qualification for getting admission to this course is passing of SSLC, but those who completed plus two is desirable to join this course. The trainees who completed this course will be posted to various Government , Semi Government and private institutions as apprenticeship training. The job prospect of this course is so high. KSDS private ITC can accommodate 100 more students in the institute in every year.
b. Health Sanitary Inspector
It is a new course designed by The National Council for Vocational Training(NCVT). Minimum qualification for receiving admission to this course is completion of SSLC and above .The syllabus of this course is a consolidated syllabus adopted from both health and sanitary courses. The duration of the course is one year. Upon successful completion of the course , the training has to undergo a one year apprenticeship training. Successful trainees will be placed to various central Government institutions like railway, NRHM and other institutions like airports, corporations, municipalities and rural health agencies.
2. Other courses
Apart from the above courses Our society is conducting other short time courses like beauty parlour and tailoring, Poultry farming and dairying , chapel candle and soap making courses.
The expenses for conducting the Free Training Courses will be borne by the Society from its own fund or with the Assistance and Sponsoring of various Govt. Agencies and Organization. All the Beneficiaries of the Training shall be from B P L families having and annual income less than 18,00.0
