The Kerala Social Development Society (K S D S) is a non-profit making charitable organization registered in the year 1997 having jurisdictions all over India. Our society is working for the over all Development and welfare of poor people in Idukki and Theni Districts of Kerala and Tamilnadu States. K S D S is granted with F C R A registration from the Govt, of India in the year 2005 and also is registered and Certified under section 12 AA and 80 G(5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act 1961. We have also received 35 AC approval from the Government of India, in the year 2014. The Kerala Social Development Society is also Registered and Authorized by the NITI AAYOG, Government of India as a NGO and also provided with a UNIQUE ID NO KL/2010/0031113. We have a Three member Director Board, consisting of Managing Director as Chief functionary and 1st and 2nd Director. The Director Board is also the Executive body of our Society. All of the Director Board members of K S D S are well educated, reputed and dedicated Social Activists.

    1. Free Vocational Training to poor persons
  • For the last 21 years, KSDS has provided free training to one thousand poor persons
  • Next 5 years KSDS will provide free training to one thousand poor persons
    • 2. Legal Aid and awareness center
  • The Legal Awareness Centre is functioning under the chairmanship of Adv. Thomas Perumana, Former Idukki district Gvt Pleader and pubh5c prosecuter. Eminent lawyers Adv C M Tomy, Adv George Alappatt, Adv TP Mathew, Adv John Joseph, Adv K Sasidharan are the other members of the legal aid centre.
  • Every month there will be legal aid and awareness seminar with regards to various legislations and subjects.
    • 3. Adult Literacy centre of KSDS
  • Once in a week classes will be conducted for adults at KSDS main centre and subcentre at Nirmalacity.
    • 4. Self Employment Training
  • Every month there will be legal aid and awareness seminar with regards to various legislations and subjects.
    • 5. Coaching Centre
  • KSDS will be providing free coaching to SC, ST, minority ,backward peoples residing in Idukki district.
